Two remarkable cities, experienced personally

The journey begins with five nights in Tokyo, exploring a city where centuries-old traditions sit beside inventive food, design and neighbourhood life. A day trip to Kamakura adds temples, history and a different rhythm beyond the capital.

We then continue to Kyoto for five nights among atmospheric streets, important cultural sights and quieter discoveries, finishing with the experience of staying at a traditional ryokan.

Travel Japan like a local

This is not a coach-window tour. We travel by train and subway and explore on foot, creating more opportunities to notice the details that make Japan memorable. Sachi brings a lifetime of Australian and Japanese cultural understanding, helping guests navigate not only where to go, but how to experience each place thoughtfully.

Expect an active journey, with up to 20,000–25,000 steps on some days, busy stations, stairs and responsibility for your own luggage. The walking is part of experiencing the real texture of Tokyo and Kyoto.

A boutique Japan tour for curious travellers

The small group keeps the experience personal and flexible. It is designed for travellers who value culture, food, conversation and context—and who want the reassurance of a thoughtful host without feeling separated from everyday Japan.

Twin-share places begin at A$5,990 per person, with a single-room option from A$7,990. Your booking is confirmed after the required deposit and written confirmation.

Your Japan, thoughtfully considered
